A letter from the President

On behalf of the Executive Board of the Somers Point Business Association, I want to thank you for your participation and support over the past year. Together, we have made greats strides in making Somers Point an attractive and successful place to do business. The opening of numerous national chain businesses and franchises reinforces the market studies naming Somers Point as a shore community with one of the brightest economic futures in New Jersey.

Since 1983, the SPBA has represented the special interests of local businesses. Over the past years, we have also supported local projects and activities such as the Summer Beach Concerts, Foundation for Education, Somers Point Jazz Society, Shore Memorial Hospital Stainton Society, Somers Point Historical Society, Big Brothers and Big Sisters and local veteran's organizations. The speakers for our monthly breakfast meetings come from all areas of commerce, education, politics and community organizations. These meetings and seasonal mixers offer a great opportunity to meet and network with fellow businesspeople. Our website will continue to offer information about our member-businesses to potential clientele planning a visit to Somers Point.

Enclosed is the 2008 membership application and invoice. Please complete and return it so we can include your business in all of the exciting plans that we have for the upcoming year. I look forward to seeing you at our next meeting or function. I wish you and your family a happy and healthy holiday season and a fulfilling and lucrative 2008.

Regards,

Rob Cozen, President
Somers Point Business Association
